Andrè Ivanoff, Ph.D.
André Ivanoff, PhD, Chairman of the Linehan Institute Board and President of Behavioral Tech, is also Associate Professor at the Columbia University School of Social Work where she directs the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training program and laboratory. She is a faculty Affiliate of the University of Washington Department of Psychology, and she is Co-Chair of the DBT Program Accreditation Committee. She is former Chair of the Columbia University Social & Behavioral Institutional Review Board. Dr. Ivanoff's current research includes the development of DBT skills-based suicide prevention for federal prison detainees, the general application of DBT to offender populations, and suicide risk assessment among juvenile prisoners. She has authored over 60 publications on suicidal behaviors, DBT, and behavior change methods, and has worked with over two dozen correctional/forensic systems nationally and internationally on DBT implementation. She lives in New York with her family.
