Frequently Asked Questions

How do industry trends around Flash Player impact the longevity of Behavioral Tech's online training courses?

Learn about Behavioral Tech's current plans for support of our online training courses with specific information about ongoing changes in the tech industry regarding Adobe Flash.

How many hours will it take me to complete the course?

The approved CE hours offered for the course is a good guideline for an estimate of how long it may take you to complete the course. However, many customers actually need more time than the CE hours provided. This is true if you pause to take notes or go back to review sections of the course. We recommend allowing yourself extra hours to make sure you are able to thoroughly go through the course. For example, the DBT Skills course is approved for 20 CE hours, but it may take you 30 or more hours to work through the materials.

Will I receive the training manual when I purchase the course?

Mastery of Anxiety and Panic for Adolescents includes a copy of the Riding the Wave Therapist Guide, which will be shipped to your listed shipping address. The DBT Skills Training course does not include a copy of the DBT Skills Training Manual or DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets, but you can purchase those along with your online training order.

Can multiple users share a single online training course?

In order to offer continuing education credits to you, we must be able to verify that the person using the account has actually completed the materials. As a result, each online training account may only be used by one person.

Can I return a course if I am dissatisfied with my purchase or purchased the training by mistake?

We do have a return policy for online training. Please contact us if you would like to return your course under the current policy.

Can I use online training in my classroom?

Yes, you can. We have worked with several professors to incorporate Behavioral Tech's online training courses into their classroom. Contact us to request a syllabus sample or to audit a course. Professors who wish to use a course with their class will receive complimentary access and their students receive a 50 percent discount.

Are the courses compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act?

Unfortunately, our online training courses were not developed to the ADA standard. To learn more about the ADA standard, please follow this link: https://www.ada.gov/pubs/ada.htm
