| Clive J. Robins, Ph.D., ABPP is a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at Duke University. Dr. Robins was awarded the diploma in behavioral psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is certified as a cognitive therapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. He is currently an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Cognitive Therapy and has published more than 80 articles and book chapters on depression, borderline personality disorder, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, and has been the recipient of research grant funding from the National Institute of Mental Health among others. Since being trained in dialectical behavior therapy by Dr. Marsha Linehan in 1993, Dr. Robins established the DBT program at Duke and has provided DBT to many patients and conducted numerous training workshops. With his colleague Cedar Koons, he conducted the first randomized controlled study of DBT outside Dr. Linehan’s laboratory. |
