Alexis Karlson, MSSW

Alexis Karlson is the Director of Business Operations for Behavioral Tech. She guides the work of the teams responsible for providing information, resources, and support; she is also the human resources representative. Alexis earned her Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington where she focused on community and administrative practice in the field of social work, and she holds a BA in Psychology from DePaul University. She has also interned in a variety of non-profit organizations, including in the areas of foster care, community services, grant writing, and charitable services for the terminally ill. Alexis’ areas of interest include health promotion and program development. She has been with Behavioral Tech since 2012.

Emily Hazelton

Emily joined Behavioral Tech in 2011 and has supported Behavioral Tech in Customer Service, Marketing, and IT capacities during her years of employment. Emily enjoys improving systems and processes to help team members work more efficiently. She is currently managing the implementation of a customer-relationship-management (CRM) system for the company. Prior to Behavioral Tech, Emily lived in Beijing teaching English to English teachers from rural China. Emily lives in Bremerton, WA, and enjoys riding the ferry, biking, and hiking.

Christelle LaJeunesse

Christelle LaJeunesse studied sociology and media studies at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. From there, she turned her passion for research and literature towards working in libraries and bookstores up and down the East and West coasts. She joined Behavioral Tech in 2015 for the opportunity to use her well-honed customer service skills in an organization where she could help people and assist in educational development. In her free time, she enjoys science fiction, the study of ancient civilizations, and cats. Especially cats.

Trang Le

Trang Le joined Behavioral Tech in early 2013 and is a Customer Service Representative. Trang previously worked as a paralegal intern for Federal Public Defenders and held administrative and volunteer roles through the University of Washington. She provides exceptional customer service to customers and manages the A/V and shipping needs of the organization. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in sociology where she also studied abroad in South Korea. Trang plans to pursue additional training as a paralegal in the future.

 

Sara Peters

Sara Peters earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and religious studies and minored in Anthropology from Stetson University in Florida. After college, Sara moved to Seattle, Washington, where she participated in the Lutheran Volunteer Corps and worked for Lutheran Peace Fellowship to teach youth and young adults about non-violent communication and social action. Sara holds a certificate in fundraising management from University of Washington and has worked for several not for profit organizations, including Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center doing fundraising, development and administration. She enjoys working in her garden, cooking, hiking, riding her bike, learning new things, and visiting places she’s never been before. She has been with Behavioral Tech since 2013.
