This course teaches clinicians how to identify and respond to client behaviors that interfere with treatment, relevant for expert and novice clinicians alike. This course specifically focuses on problematic behaviors that make it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to provide therapy. This course teaches clinicians how to manage behaviors that interfere with the client receiving therapy, as well as behaviors that burn out therapists when these behaviors occur in individual therapy/counseling, individual case management, and one-on-one counseling sessions.
