Armida Rubio Fruzzetti, Ph.D. candidate, Clinical Psychology, currently works as a Professor ofPsychology at Truckee Meadows College. She has trained professionals throughout the UnitedStates and Sweden in the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She has worked in a variety of clin-icalsettings utilizing DBT for adults and adolescents and has worked extensively applying DBTwith couples and families. In addition to her clinical work, she conducts research regarding thedevelopment of psychopathology within the family context. She is fluent in Spanish andEnglish and focuses time and research within the Hispanic community in addition to her workwith DBT with couples and families.
