Chats with Trainers: Engaging Clients by Linking Goals to Treatment

Description
This small group consultation will focus on any helping therapists who are experiencing a lack of direction and engagement in their treatment with specific clients. It will focus on helping therapists identify clients’ goals and make clear links between those goals and tasks that are needed for treatment to be successful. It is expected that the consultation among a group of clinicians faced with similar problems will focus on specific cases in a highly applicable manner.

Learning Objective
Motivate clients by linking their goals to the tasks needed to engage in successful treatment.
