Inga Wessman MSc, Cand.Psych, is a psychologist and the owner/CEO of the Anxiety Clinic for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults in Reykjavik, Iceland. The clinic also offers a DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) program for both adolescents and adults. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the Department of Psychology at the University of Iceland, with an expected completion by 2026. Inga is also an adjunct professor at the University of Iceland, where she supervises graduate students in clinical psychology both in clinical training and for their Master's theses at both the University of Iceland and Reykjavik University.

Inga graduated from the University of Iceland with an MSc in 2015 and a Cand.psych degree in 2016. She trained at the Behavioral Research and Training Clinic (BRTC), led by Marsha Linehan, the creator of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, while studying at the University of Washington. Inga also received clinical training at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School, for two years and has participated in research projects at the hospital.

Inga is a member of the committee that helped establish the European DBT Association and, together with others, is working on creating a DBT Association in Iceland.
Currently, Inga is conducting research on suicidal imagery in adolescents and young adults and is collaborating on a study evaluating DBT group therapy for individuals on the Autism Spectrum in Norway.
