Anne M. Fletcher, M.S., R.D., is a nationally known health sciences writer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Master of Science from Drexel University. Hermost recent book is Sober for Good: New Solutions for Drinking Problems—Advice From ThoseWho Have Succeeded (2001). Ms. Fletcher has been executive editor and chief writer of theTufts University Health & Nutrition Letter and a contributing editor for Prevention Magazine. Shealso taught nutrition and biochemistry at Pennsylvania State University and was an assistant director of Frances Stern Nutrition Center at the New England Medical Center Hospital.
