Brad Beach, B.A., is the Clinical Administrator at Echo Glen Children’s Center, a juvenile correctional facility located in Washington State. Mr. Beach has worked in juvenile corrections since 1982, specializing in the treatment of mentally ill offenders.
In 1997, his implementation of DBT resulted in a 90% reduction in incidences of parasuicidal and assaultive behavior as well as a significant reduction in felony recidivism rates for youth in the mental health unit. Mr. Beach has provided training and consultation in DBT for forensic and adolescent populations in the United States and Canada since 1999. He continues to develop and implement treatment strategies for difficult to treat clients in forensic settings.
