Gloria Seo, LCSW-C and a Board-Certified Supervisor in the state of Maryland. She maintains a private practice in Towson, Maryland. Gloria obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Gloria treats a wide variety of mental health issues and has a special interest in challenging and difficult to treat children and adolescents.
Gloria is active in providing trainings and speaking at conferences on topics related to mental health. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Social Work and teaches advanced level social work graduate students.
Gloria’s clinical interest includes working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, exhibit problematic sexualized behaviors, struggle with emotional and behavioral dysregulation, and exhibit suicidal or parasuicidal behaviors. Gloria utilizes evidence-based treatment models in her clinical practice. Gloria was trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Pre-Adolescent Children (DBT-C) by the program developer Francheska Perepletchikova, Ph.D. Gloria is certified in providing services in Korean through the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
